Kara Garstecki

Owner

Kara Garstecki, founded the woman-owned company, KMG LAW LLC, in 2017 after an established career as a real estate associate at Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. She has extensive experience in, and regularly represent clients regarding, virtually every aspect of real estate and real estate development.

PRACTICE AREAS

Real Estate Acquisition and Development

Kara has represented purchasers, sellers, and developers in all phases of the acquisition, development, and sale of commercial and residential properties. From site selection through the acquisition, development, and disposition of commercial real estate, Kara is available to assist her clients in every facet of real estate transactions whether it be office buildings, industrial parks, medical office buildings, multi-family, mixed and planned use developments and undeveloped real estate.

Real Estate Leasing

Kara represents developers, landlords, tenants, and leasing agents in the leasing of commercial properties, including office buildings, malls, and retail centers, industrial property, medical office buildings and industrial properties like warehouses.

Real Estate Finance

Kara has extensive experience in the representation of both borrowers and lenders in commercial and real estate lending transactions. As a result of her regular representation of several local and national lenders, she is uniquely qualified to assist real estate clients in structuring their real estate financings and fulfilling lender requirements on a timely and cost-effective basis. Kara regularly negotiates construction loans, real estate loans, lines of credit, and other financing transactions on behalf of our real estate clients. In addition, she routinely acts as local counsel to out-of-state developers and other clients in connection with their Alabama real estate financing issues.
